Gutter guard filter

First thing to do: measure the slope on the eaves. Now you can point out the high and low level with a line-level. To have the water drain properly you need a slop of 1/4″ – 3/8″ for every 10 feet.

After that, mark the reference line with a piece of chalk.

Measure the desired length of the gutter all the way around the outside and then cut it off, most of the times using a pair of tin snips. Be careful for sharp edges.

Now, attaching the gutter to the eaves will require hanging brackets to hold the rain gutter. Make sure you inform yourself about how to mount the gutter properly, to avoid future problems.

The ending part of this installation process is the downspout. You will have to attach the downspout with a sleeve section. Draw an outline around the sleeve in the gutter. After that cut a hole using the proper tools and seal the edges around the opening with silicone to prevent leaks. Cut the correct size of the downspout and screw the pieces together. Install the end caps and cover them with silicone. Do a test to see if there are any leaks. Before starting to install rain gutter make sure you have done all the research needed to do the job perfectly.
