Outside condenser unit
With time passing the central heat and air unit will gain a lot of problems. One strange problem is ice that forms around the system.
While it functions, water may drip from the system.
Ice forms easier when the central heat and air unit is closer to the ground. The frozen ground will cause the water to freeze to, despite the heat coming from the system.
What is important is to verify the central heat and air unit to see if there is ice forming elsewhere. Because of ice there might be blockages or parts could get ripped. Otherwise if you have ice forming at the bottom of the unit you should know that this won’t affect the functioning of the system.
