Cleaning the coils of a central heat

Heating systems that use electricity to produce heat have coils that warm up the air as it passes through the system. You should clean these coils twice a year because they tend to retain dust very much.

1.

Take off the panel that covers the coils. Refer to the user manual of the heater to find the exact location of the panel.

2. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush vacuum attachment to eliminate any particle of dust and debris around the coils.

3. After that clean the area with a coil brush which is especially designed for the surface of the coils.

4. Then again use the vacuum cleaner to remove the dust you pushed with the brush. Place back the panel over the electric coils and run the heater.
