Troubleshooting central heating systems
Using a central heating system will provide you with the necessary comfort you need, still it won’t work forever. These are some of the problems that can occur.
2. At least once a year it is important to change the filter in the furnace. If the heater doesn’t perform as it once did you should know that the filter may be guilty for this, as air can’t get in through dirty filters.
3. Create an optimal air flow in the room by eliminating any obstruction in the way. Inside it could be the furniture and outside the vents may be blocked by leaves and debris. Don’t ignore the cold-air return vents even though they are not connected to the ducts.
4. For the heating systems that burn natural gas, check the pilot light from time to time. It should be clear blue. What you don’t want to see is a yellow or orange flame because this is a sign that something is wrong.
5. Hire technicians to perform regular maintenance to the system as this can save you a lot of money with later repairing.
